Unsub is our free tool for analyzing library journal subscriptions. It gives you data-driven forecasts of the true cost and value of your journal packages to guide subscription decisions, and it’s used by hundreds of libraries worldwide.

How do I get access to Unsub?

Unsub logins come with OpenAlex institutional plans. Send the names and email addresses of up to 3 users at your institution (typically collections librarians) to [email protected] and we’ll create their accounts — details in Supporter tools.

Where can I get help with Unsub?

The documentation and shared training videos cover most questions; we don’t offer direct Unsub support beyond that. If you want consulting help with analyses and implementation, we recommend Eric Schares ([email protected]), an experienced Unsub super-user.
